501st Legion, a worldwide group of Star Wars cosplayers, will have a variety of costumes on site, and will be happy to answer questions about costuming, prop building, 3D printing and more.

Barrie Wood Carvers
Dive into the art of wood carving Barrie Wood Carvers member and instructor Tony Warwick. Tony brings expertise in wood carving and wood turning and will demonstrate the process of making carved coasters. You’ll be invited to try your hand at carving too.

BRIX Maker Community
Visit this group of local maker enthusiasts! They will showcase some of their maker projects including: a custom-built mini 3D printer, automata kits, a stationary bike you can pedal to light up, and other great ideas! 

Candy Entertainment
CANDY = Children and Youth Entertainment Simcoe County, bringing children and youth safe, fun, inclusive entertainment in Simcoe County. Drop by Candy Entertainment to create your own unique bracelet!

Code Ninjas
Code Ninjas Barrie is a premier learning center dedicated to empowering kids through coding and technology. Offering a range of engaging programs, including game development, robotics, and programming, Code Ninjas Barrie fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. With a team of experienced instructors and state-of-the-art facilities, the center provides children with the tools and knowledge to explore their passions and build a strong foundation for future success in the tech world. Come see us and play the bongos on limes using a Makey Makey circuit board, turning ordinary objects into a fun musical experience. Plus, dive into the world of Minecraft Education, where you’ll have the chance to participate in activities using either block-based coding or JavaScript.

Discover a diverse collection of fan art and original creations, including prints, stickers, pins, and keychains. Featuring both digital and traditional artworks, Gantoast showcases a range of unique pieces that capture imagination and creativity. The exhibit will consist of a live painting where she will demonstrate the intricate details that goes into creating a large collaborative piece. People will be able to mix up paints and place them on the canvas to create a wonderful community piece of art.

Hannatess ArtHaus
Discover the artwork of Hanna Tess ArtHaus, a local contemporary artist who is passionate about illustrating life in Simcoe and human experiences. Specializing in watercolour and acrylic, Maria’s loose contemporary impressionistic style brings landscapes, still lifes, and portraits to life. Try your hand at painting as Maria shares a painting lesson with a still life. 

Health & Wellness, Town of Innisfil
Gurneet from the Town of Innisfil’s Health and Wellness Team will lead interactive sessions to prepare healthy and delicious snacks, including pre-cut fruit and yogurt cups. Sessions run from 10-11am, 11-12pm, and 1-2pm for 8 to 10 participants each. Plus, enjoy a fun food-themed bingo or activity for kids during the midday break! @TownofInnisfil

Innisfil Community Foundation is on a mission to be passionate partners, supporting the local community and sparking ideas into action through financial grants. Jamie Hardie
Join Jamie Hardie for a 100% hands on experience and discover the creativity of upcycling as Jamie demonstrates how to craft rocket ships using recycled materials.Recycled Rockets will supply everything needed for visitors to build/create their very own ‘Scratch-Built’ SCI-FI space ship or space shuttle made from materials commonly found around the house or recycling boxes. These ‘Scratch-Built spectaculars’ will be painted and returned for pick-up the following week. Don’t miss the chance to be inspired and see how recycling can fuel creativity!

Join us at MacLaren Art Centre booth and create your very own watercolour bookmark! With a focus on STEAM art-making, explore and create a variety of vibrant painted textures by using resists like wax and salt– creating one-of-a-kind watercolour masterpieces! All are welcome!

Mobile Youth Centre, Town of Innisfil, Leisure Services
The Innisfil Mobile Youth Centre includes sports equipment, life-size board games, crafts, and more. Touring the community during the summer month, the MYC provides an opportunity for kids to be active outdoors, have fun, and meet new friends! 

MudRoom Pottery
Watch as Mud Room Pottery brings the art of ceramics to life! Demonstrating various pottery techniques, including wheel throwing and hand building, trimming and glazing, this Maker will encourage attendees to expand their horizons by trying something both ancient and new, and perhaps even learn a new skill. Plus, check out a stunning display of unique pottery items.

Underdog Visions will showcase unique apparel and merchandise, including shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, and stickers. Using the resources at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, they blended artistic expression with entrepreneurial drive, drawing inspiration from iconic groups like Dipset, Rough Riders, Toronto Raptors, and Wu-Tang Clan. Additionally, we invite visitors to take part in a hands-on activity by coloring black-and-white images of the Under Dog Visions logo. @saugacityoutcast

Exercise your imagination with Upchuckle Education in the ThinkLAB for a fun and interactive drawing workshop with Random Drawing Prompts! Learn some drawing tips & tricks, and submit your community prompts for our local artists to bring to life this fall. @upchuckleentertainment
