Save the Date for Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s fourth edition of ComicFEST on Saturday, April 24, 2027 from 10am-2pm at the Lakeshore Branch.
What is ComicFEST?
ComicFEST showcased and celebrated pop culture, with local vendors, Cosplayers, artists, gaming, making and more!
This comic themed event brought in many costumed attendees, happily taking part in Superhero storytime, superhero mask making with the MacLaren Art Centre, and button making by Pretty Heroes. We ran a special HackLAB drop-in, where participants were able to create their own lightsabre. There was an all-ages MarioKart tournament on the main stage, with participants of all ages. Fantastical Greenscreening was very popular, and members of the 501st Legion took photos, transporting themselves straight to the Death Star!
